HCMC Icon Tower to Serve Tet New Year's Eve Dinner
For VND 599,000 (US$29) a person and VND 399,000 ($19) for children between 4 to 12 years old, you can enjoy a sumptuous dinner at the sky deck of Ho Chi Minh City's new icon, the Bitexco Financial Tower on the eve of January 22. At 262.5 meters (861 ft) and 68 floors, it is among the country’s highest structures and is the 124th tallest building in the world.
The New Year’s Eve dinner will begin from 10 p.m. stretching to midnight. Apart from the buffet dinner, the celebration includes a cocktail party with flamenco band and courtesy presents to guests from Bitexco. From its sky deck on the 19th floor, guests can enjoy a beautiful view of the city below. In time of the Tet season, a festive atmosphere and colorful streets can be witnessed from above. As the traditional display of fireworks will take place at midnight, guests from atop can have a wonderful firework viewing experience.
With lotus petal-inspired design, the building symbolizes Vietnam’s integration into the international marketplace. The tower is known to hold many other popular events in the past including the Bitexco Vertical Run, a race from the ground floor lobby to the 49th-floor observation deck, held in October of 2011. The event was attended by reigning Vertical World Circuit Champion Thomas Dold of Germany and Melissa Moon of New Zealand.
Bitexco Financial Tower is located at 19-25 Nguyen Hue Boulevard.
