The central province of Quang Nam is a known tourist destination because of several beautiful sights: the ancient town of Hoi An; My Son Sanctuary; and the ancient pottery village of Thanh Ha. But even more than these, it is also where the Thanh Ha Terracotta Park is located, where many heritage sites can be found in one place, a treat to any historical buff.

Thanh Ha Terracotta Park is a project by the People’s Committee of Hoi An City and Nha Viet Corp. The concept of the place is a melting pot of different kinds of art such as craft and pottery, as well as a haven for the artists to be united in developing new and better products. It was inaugurated just this April 2016 after a four-year construction period and a building cost of $1 million, mainly from investments. The area is about 6,000 square metres big, large enough for certain important historical sites to be built.

The park is composed of five areas: museum of pottery products and artifacts; outdoor exhibition area of miniature World Heritage-recognized sites in Vietnam such as the Hue Imperial Citadel, My Son Sanctuary and Hoi An; Champs Elysees; the Colosseum; and the Parthenon Temple, the last three replicas of the original structures.
