As every year at this time, nature is going to transform the lush green of the rice fields gradually into a strong yellow. The first rice crop the year is imminent. Thus also the busiest time begins on the fields. Immediately after harvesting, the next rice planting is prepared again. There are unlikely to do so much in the next few weeks. During the months of June and July, no farmer can afford days off. As in the previous summer we will help our neighbors – from whom we regularly buy our rice – a little with the harvest.
